Katrina Johns

JOHNS, Katrina Ellen - Age 65, of Flushing, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022, peacefully with her family by her side.  A family luncheon will be held 1PM  Thursday March 31 at Bella Birches, 606 N McKinley Rd., Flushing, following a private graveside service at the Flushing Cemetery.  Pastor Shawn Cook of First Baptist in Swartz Creek will be officiating.  Those desiring to make any contributions may do so to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Katrina was born on September 15, 1956 in Clarksburg, WV, the daughter of Robert John and Lena Lovere (Browning) Eisenhauer.  She grew up in the city of Flint and was a 1974 graduate of Swartz Creek High School.  She married David Arthur Johns July 16, 1977 in a private ceremony in Flushing.  She had resided in Flushing for the past 22 years and retired in 2015 from the United States Postal Service after 22 years of service.  She enjoyed reading anything and everything and most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are: her husband, David; children, Crystal (Mike) Slezak of Lexington, SC, Colin (Heather) Johns of Greensboro, NC, Candace (Josh) Draheim of Lebanon, TN, Caylee Johns (Nicholas Swartwood) of Flushing; grandchildren, Kaden, Bretton, Calvin, Lauren, Lindsay, Cole, Charli, Elliot, Austin, and Reese; sisters, Kim (Tom) Doty of Crossville, TN, Julie Lingenfelter of Hickory, NC; brothers, Rob (Carin) Eisenhauer of Edmonds, OK and Jeremy (Susan) Eisenhauer of Lansing, MI; stepsister, Carolyn Stefanski of Euliss, TX and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lovere Eisenhauer, stepmother Shirley Eisenhauer and stepsister Rita Bunting.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
