WYATT, Katie Douglas - Age 14, of Fenton, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2011. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Cornerstone Church, 4995 N. Hickory Ridge Road, Highland. Pastor Jacob Ouellette officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton on Thursday and Friday from 12-4 and 6-9 PM; and at church Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to U of M Cancer Center or Rainbow Connection. Katie was born September 24, 1996 in Ann Arbor, the daughter of Douglas and Sandra (Benavides) Wyatt. She attended AGS Middle School in Fenton. She has resided in Fenton for the past 7 1/2 years. Surviving are: father, Douglas Wyatt and Lisa Moryc of Fenton; mother, Sandra Wyatt of Fenton; sisters, Amanda Moreno and Emily Wyatt of Fenton; brother, David Moreno of Fenton; niece, Ava Moreno Lloyd of Fenton; grandparents, David and Sandra Wyatt of Anderson, IN and Mary Benavides of San Antonio, TX; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Benavides, Sr. and uncle, Robert Benavides, Jr. Online tributes may be posted on the obituaries page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
