Kathy Marie Grossklaus

GROSSKLAUS, Kathy Marie - Age 74, of Fenton, passed away March 11, 2024. A Celebration of Kathy's Life will take place 3:00 PM Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Mr. Bill Churchill officiating. Visitation 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM Saturday. Memorial contributions in Kathy's memory would be appreciated to The American Cancer Society or The American Diabetes Association.

Kathy was born October 15, 1949 in Flint, the daughter of Clifford Gordon and Jeanne Gertrude (Morgan) Higham. She graduated from St. Agnes High School in 1967 where she served as the schools' Majorette  throughout her four years there. After graduation, Kathy started her career with Michigan Bell as an operator. She later worked her way to becoming Sales Manager for Ameritech and later retiring from AT&T in 2010. Kathy also served as the Past President of Sales and Marketing Executives (SME) of Flint. She enjoyed boating on Lake Fenton, traveling, and antiquing. Kathy also loved any thing regarding the Fine Arts. Additionally, Kathy enjoyed decorating, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Tisha Lynn (Eddie) Taylor; grandson, Tyler Daniel Mason; her siblings, John W. (Denae) Higham, Denise (Bill) Churchill, Ann Marie (Kenny) Wright, James (Lynne) Higham, and Lori (Jeff) Whitney; and many nieces; nephews; and grand nieces and nephews.
