THOMPSON, Kathryn Mae - age 82, of Burton, formerly of Flint, passed away January 2, 2021. Funeral Services 3PM Monday, January 11, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc. Pastor Jim Reid Officiating. Visitation 11 AM until the time of service. Interment at Middle Branch Twp. Cemetery, Marion. Memorial  Contributions would be appreciated to the family.Kathryn was born April 20, 1938 in Marion, the daughter of Joseph and Florence (Williams) McCrimmon. She married Eugene Floyd Hodge and later Fred Thompson. Kathryn graduated from Marion High School in 1956. She was employed as a Telephone Operator in Marion. Later Kathryn worked for Halo Burger for 17 years as a Store Manager. She also was employed as a Cook at Baker College Early Learning Center, retiring in 2010. Kathryn was a member of Faith Ministries in Clio and the Eastern Star. She was very artistic, and enjoyed cooking, ceramics, and gardening. Kathryn is survived by: her children, Tammy (Tony) Belcher, David (Dawne) Hodge; grandchildren, Toni Lynn Belcher, Jay Belcher, Aaron Hodge; great grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor, Alana, Kyle, and Payton Belcher, Cameron, Caden, Kyla, Aaron Jr., Emily, and Elijah Hodge; brother, Donald McCrimmon; several nieces and nephews.Kathryn was preceded in death by: her parents; husbands' Eugene Hodge and Fred Thompson; siblings Henry McCrimmon, George McCrimmon, and Norma Anderson; grandsons, David Eugene Hodge, Jr. and Ryan Michael Hodge.
