Kathryn Grace GOODRICH

GOODRICH, Kathryn G., age 84 of Flint, died Thursday, January 7, 2010 at home. Mrs. Goodrich was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on September 1, 1925 the daughter of Howard and Anna (Vandivort) Lair. She has lived in the Flint area for many years where she married Vernon P. Goodrich April 4, 1944. He preceded her in death in 2005. She retired in 1983 as owner/bookkeeper of Goodrich Landscaping. Mrs. Goodrich is survived by her 6 children; Carol (John) McGuire of Port Charlotte, FL, Nancy (Dennis) Keys of Durand and Arcadia, FL, Phillip (Susan) Goodrich of Menominee Falls WI, David (Marcia) Goodrich of Holly, James (Karen) Goodrich of Gaines and Sue (Gary) Thompson of Port Charlotte, FL. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, sister, Dorothy Carpenter of Flint and several nieces and nephews.Mrs. Goodrich was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Walter Fulcher and a sister, Evelyn Iansiti. Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Monday, January 11, 2010 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd, Grand Blanc, Twp. Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be Saturday from 6 to 8 P.M. and Sunday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Monday visitation will be from 1 P.M. to service time. Kathryn's family gives special thanks to Heartland Hospice for all the kindness they gave to their mother and those desiring to remember Mrs. Goodrich may do so with a memorial contribution to Heartland Hospice.
