DEVEREAUX, Kathryn Joan Henderson age 82, of Durand, formerly of Flint, died Friday, April 11, 2014 at Durand Senior Care and Rehab Center. Services will be held 12 PM Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at St. Bartholomew Anglican Church, 9252 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Fr. Gene Geromel, SSC officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Bartholomew Anglican Church, 9252 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek 48473. Kathryn was born March 18, 1932 in Flint, the daughter of Albert and Ruth (Ramsey) Spillman. She was a graduate of Flint Technical High School. She was the first graduate chosen to be hired at Buick Public Relations. Mrs. Devereaux later became a legal secretary and retired after 34 years. She was an active member of St. Bartholomew Anglican Church. Surviving are: two daughters, Kelly Henderson of TN, Tracy and husband, Christopher, Lytle of Durand; five grandchildren, Spencer, Chelsea and Caitlyn Helmick, Hanna (Adam) Hawley and Greyson Lytle' precious great grandson, Adam James Hawley, Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Devereaux in 1994 and her former husband, Giles Henderson in 2005.
