YORK, Kathleen Talmadge -- Age 92, of Swartz Creek, died November 14, 2016. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday November 18 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home and again Friday from 11 AM until time of service. Kathleen was born January 13, 1924 the daughter of Sidney and Laura Bell Clark. She married Walter G. York in Angola, IN in 1955, they met in West Virginia and came to Flint to work for GM. She cherished her family and all the time she got to spend with them. she enjoyed dancing and cooking spaghetti. She also enjoyed her get a away in Oscoda with Walter and Julia. She looked forward to her lunches with Sid. Kathleen liked to shop and exercise. She always had a vegetable garden and also loved her flowers. She loved her dog, Chi-Chi. She is survived by children, Julia Stocchi, Sidney C. York (Natalya), Walter J. York, Nancy (Jerry) VanVeelen, Paul (Gayle) York, Glenda (Dave)Bailey; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
