TEBO, Kathleen L. - Age 80, of Lansing formerly of Flint, passed away peacefully the morning of Sunday, November 20, 2022.

Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, MI on Friday December 2, 2022, from 4-8 PM and Saturday December 3, 2022, from 2:00 PM until the time of the service. Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, December 3, 2022, Pastor Cory Snyder officiating. Burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery 2:00 PM Monday, December 5, 2022. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Psoriasis Foundation, www.psoriasis.org.

Kathleen was born June 7, 1942, in Flint, the daughter of Louie E., Jr. and Hazel Marie (Sivits) DeWeese and was raised by her grandparents, Russell and Dora (Coyle-DeWeese) Mein. As a young girl she loved time spent at their cabin on Jose Lake in Hale and deer hunting and fishing with her grandparents. She was a 1960 graduate of Flint Central High School.

She married Donald Richard Tebo August 21, 1959, in Flint and the newlyweds relocated to Ellsworth Air Force Base in Rapid City, SD where Don was stationed. After leaving the service, the couple moved back to Flint in 1961 and started their family. As a working mother with three active boys, she was involved in Cub Scouts, sporting events, band boosters and church events. Before working for GM, Kathy and Don had a Detroit Free Press Motor route and owned Tebo Plaster Crafts, a plaster of paris business. She began working at GM in Flint in1966 and retired from GM in 2001 after 30 years of service (Oldsmobile, Buick, Cadillac) in Lansing. Kathleen was a proud member of the U.A.W. Local 602.

Surviving is her loving husband of 63 years, Donald; sons, Richard (Wendy) Tebo of Prosper, TX, Michael (Lois) Tebo of Davison, and Jefferson (Amy) Tebo of Gaines; grandchildren, Emily Tebo, Hannah (Nathaniel) Sierra, Michael Tebo, Joshua Tebo, Jacob Tebo, Matthew Tebo, Lindsay (Nathan) Sarria, Sydney (Noah) McLaughlin; great grandsons Desmond and Cameron; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Louie E., Jr. and Hazel Marie (Sivits) DeWeese; sisters Ruth Ann Lockwood and Patricia Garges; grandparents, Russell and Dora (Coyle-DeWeese) Mein; in-laws Richard and Dorothy (Case) Tebo; and special cousin, Carol Chatters.
