Kathleen Mary Saad

SAAD, Kathleen Mary - Age 80, of Hartland, passed away at home on June 30, 2023, surrounded by her 5 loving daughters. Private services will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery.

Kathy was born June 23, 1943, in Bay City, the daughter of George and Catherine (Benjamin) Beckers. She graduated from Bay City Central High School in Bay City, MI.  Kathy married the love of her life, Louis R. Saad on November 9, 1963, in Bay City. 
Kathy is survived by her children; Deborah (Joseph) Spears, Victoria (Daniel) Szymanski, Laura (David) Nystrom, Stephanie (Jeffrey) Smith, and Amanda (Ryan) Sullivan; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; siblings Judy Gysin, Nancy (Frank) Grooms, Timothy (Cindy) Beckers, Lisa Muehlenbeck and David Beckers, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years Louis Saad; siblings; Theresa Hoggard, Arlene Nellett, Rollen Beckers and her brother-in-laws Jim Gysin and Greg Muehlenbeck.

Kathy was an extraordinary mother who was always there when we needed her.  She was very proud of her family and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.  She enjoyed reading, crafting, and creating her handmade Christmas stockings for each new grandchild.  A remarkable and wonderful woman, she will be greatly missed by all.
