Kathleen A. Moody

MOODY, Kathleen A. (nee Jackson) passed away on March 8, 2010 in Houston, TX after a 25-year battle with cancer. Services will be held 10 AM Friday, March 26, 2010 at the Mausoleum of New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Kathy was born August 5, 1954 in Flint, Michigan. She graduated from Flint Northern High School class of 1972. She married Barry S. Moody on July 13, 1978 in Flint, Michigan and moved to Rosenberg, Texas in 1980. Surviving to cherish her memory are: her daughter, Carrie J. Moody of Rosenberg, TX; her mother, Florence D. Jackson of Flint; one sister, Sandra M. Jackson of Flint; two brothers, Robert J. Jackson (Velma) of Flint and Paul M. Jackson (Rose Mary) of Swartz Creek; one sister-in-law, Connie R. Wyatt (Edwin) of Houston, TX; and one brother-in-law, Larry Moody (Judith) of Flint; many nieces and nephews; many grand nieces and grand nephews. Her husband, Barry and father, Glen, preceded Kathy in death. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Rev. Donnie Melton and to Ms. Janet E. Janovich of Rosenberg, TZ who took Kathy in and cared for her in her final days. May God bless and keep them for their loving kindness.
