KOLLEN , Kathleen Mary - Age 86, of Burton, died December 31, 2015. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Private committal services at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly . Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Saturday, 12 - 2 PM Sunday. Those desiring may make contributions to the charity of their choice . Kathleen was born May 19, 1929 in Heron, MI, the daughter of Edward and Ila (Hamilton) Prevo. She was a 1946 graduate of Alpena High School. She married Harold Kollen on July 27, 1946; he preceded her in death May 24, 2001. She owned and operated Mary K. Catering for 28 years retiring in 1999. She was a member of VFW 822 Auxiliary. Surviving are: daughter, Yvonne Honeysette; grandchildren, Geniene Pierce, Danny Honeysette all of Burton; .great-grandchildren, Chevy and Lily.
