HARRIS, Kathleen Roseanna (Johnson) - Age 92, of Flushing, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed via the link on Mrs. Harris obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Burial 1:00 PM Monday, May 20, 2024 in Flushing Cemetery, Flushing. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to a charity of your choice.

Kathleen was born April 17, 1932 in Flint, the daughter of Floyd Garfield and Naomi May (Smith) Johnson. She married Billy Esker Harris January 23, 1958 in Ft. Worth, TX and he preceded her in death November 17, 1997. She had resided in Flushing since 1994 coming from Florida/Texas. Kathleen was employed as a Nurses Aide. She was a member of the Flushing Senior Center, the Michigan Cruisers Car Club; a was former member of Salem Lutheran Church in Flint. She enjoyed going to the movies and traveling.

Surviving are: her sister, Helen M. Scully of Flushing; nieces and nephew, Michelle (Brian Ross) Lake, James (Pam) Pieknik of Flushing and Karen (Charlie) Bruton of Montrose; grand nieces and nephews, Nicholas Lake, Jamie Pieknik (Shane Lordan), Jared Pieknik, Katie Bruton and Wendel Bruton; cousin, Bob (Judi) Kuschell of Port Huron; and best friend, Mary Jane.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Naomi Johnson. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
