HUGHES, Kathleen A. (Kostrzewa) - Age 72, passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2015 in Krakow, Poland while on vacation celebrating her 35th Wedding Anniversary. Services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Luke Air Force Base - Operation Warm Heart, c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Kathie was born October 14, 1942 in Saginaw, the daughter of Francis and Evelyn Kostrzewa and was a graduate of Saginaw High School. She was married to Pat Hughes in 1980. Kathie worked alongside her husband at Little Joe's until the restaurant was sold in 1993. She had lived the past 20 years in Arizona, spending Summer's in Michigan. She is survived by her husband, Pat; children, Mark Muehlenbeck, Matt and wife Cindy Muehlenbeck, Molly and husband Tom Hicks, Brett and wife Susan Hughes, Amy Hughes (deceased); grandchildren, Sam, Rachel, Jason, Mackenzie, Ashley, Jodi and Jade; brothers, Frank and wife Rose Kostrzewa, Tom and wife Helen Kostrzewa.
