Kathleen Faye Gorden

GORDEN, Kathleen Faye - Age 78, of Beulah, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023.  Graveside services will be held 2:30 PM Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Fairview Cemetery, Linden.  Deacon Ron Kenney officiating.  In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the American Lung Association.  

Kathleen was born August 12, 1945 in Flint, the daughter of Hubert and Katharine (Haas) Morgan.  She was a 1963 graduate of Flint Southwestern High School.  She married Arthur William Gorden.  She had resided in Beulah since 1988 coming from Flint.  Kathleen was a member of the Lung Rehab Group "Huff and Puff".  She also was a volunteer on the family council at The Maple's in Frankfort.  She enjoyed rubber stamps and making cards.  

Surviving are: her daughter, Wendy (Rob) Oldenburg of Linden; grandchildren, Scotty (Amy) Hendrix of Benzonia, Stephanie (Kyle) Thomas of Kingsley, Jerry Hendrix of Beulah, Adam Birdsall of Beulah and Robin (Mack) Birdsall of Traverse City; and 4 great grandchildren; sister, Betty Smith of Grand Blanc; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Scott Hendrix; brother, Clark Morgan; and sister, Dorothy Larson.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
