Kathleen Francisco

FRANCISCO, Kathleen - Age 82, of Swartz Creek, died Friday, April 8, 2022.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley St. Flint.  Fr. Thomas Firestone celebrant.  Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint.  Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes; Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek Tuesday from 4-8 PM and at church Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass.  Those desiring may make contributions to St. Vianney Catholic School or the Genesee County Humane Society.

Kathleen was born March 15, 1940 in Flint, the daughter of Benjamin and Jane (Malloy) Thomas.  She was a 1958 graduate of St. John Vianney Catholic High School.  She married Keith Francisco in 1986 and he preceded her in death in 1993.  She had resided in the Flint area her entire life.  Kathleen retired from Delphi (AC Spark Plug) in 1999 after 42 years of service.  She was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church.  She enjoyed baking, crocheting, knitting, animals, and her faith and family.

Surviving are: her daughter, Debra (Philip) Bigsby of Lewiston; grandchildren, April (Chris) Smith of Flint, Chasidy (Joseph) Smith of Ohio, Wayne Bigsby (Christina Couch) of Flint, and Phillip (Angela) Bigsby of Florida; great grandchildren, William, Adam, Zachary, Kiley, Hannah, Mikayla, Matthew, Gabby, Ellaina; brother, Donald Thomas of Florida; sister-in-law, Rochelle Thomas of Swartz Creek; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and five brothers, Clifford, Benjamin, Bernard, John "Jack", and William.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneahomes.com.
