ESTES, Kathleen Marie - Age 70, of Flint Township, died Friday, September 1, 2017. Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday, September 8, 2017 from 3-8 PM and from 10am until time of service Saturday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Kathleen was born September 11, 1946, the daughter of Edward and Mary Anne (Renaud) Kolomak. On September 29, 1990 she married James Estes. She was a proud and loving wife. Kathleen loved spending time with her family and friends and especially the grandchildren. She loved her job at Farm Bureau Insurance and the people she worked with. Hard working, feisty and strong are how people would describe her. She was an avid gardener, loved to shop, decorate her home, and travel. She enjoyed any celebration and was usually the last to leave. Surviving are husband James; her three children: Ronald (Suzie) Mitchell, Dale (Tina) Mitchell, and Dawn (Michael) Klasen, and two grandchildren, Andrew and Eva Klasen.
