Kathleen Dwyer

DWYER, Kathleen (Kathy) Denise (Taubitz), known as Kate to her loving husband - Age 61, of Fenton, passed away April 14, 2021. The family will receive friends from 11AM-1PM on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, with a private service to follow. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Kathleen was born June 25, 1959 in Flint, the daughter of Richard and Catherine (Bourget) Taubitz. She was a 1977 graduate of Fenton High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree from Spring Arbor College. Kathleen worked in Healthcare Administration for over 30 years. She is survived by her husband, Steven; daughter, Amanda Cowen (Robert Freeman); step-children, Christopher Michael (Louise) Dwyer, Kelly Marie (Ahmed) Nafti and Thomas Dwyer; grandchildren, Kenza, Amira and Emma; siblings, Mark (Barb) Taubitz, Richard (Janie) Taubitz, William (DeAnn) Taubitz, Jeanette (Michael) Kanyak; mother-in-law, Beryl Dwyer; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Paul Taubitz; father-in-law, Michael Dwyer.
