Kathleen E. Corey

COREY, Kathleen E.  Age 77, of Durand, died Thursday, August 05, 2004 at Durand Convalescent Center. Services will be held 1 PM Monday, August 9, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Rev. Gloria Ward and Sue Nagle co-officiating. Interment will be held at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be from 2-5 and 7-9 PM Sunday and 11 AM until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Corey was born February 20, 1927 in Argentine Township, the daughter of Harry and Edith (Shaw) Wykes. She married Donald Corey on March 30, 1972 in Flint. Mrs. Corey was a member at Snowflake Spiritualist Church and former minister of Gateway Spiritualist Church in Holly for many years. Surviving are: husband, Donald Corey of Durand; daughter, Lynda and husband, John Auten of Durand; five step-children, Valerie and husband, Robert Lauer of Pontiac, Michael Corey and wife, Emily of NY, Thomas Corey of WA, Deborah and husband, Mike Williams of WA, Steven Corey and wife, Kathy of GA; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Rev.
