Kathleen M. Chapman

Chapman , Kathleen M. - Age 76, of Mt. Morris, died July 28, 2024. Services will be held 3 PM Saturday, September 7 at the Mt. Morris Christian Faith Church, 2451 E. Mt. Morris Road, Mt. Morris, Michigan. Private committal services will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association. Kathleen was born March 20, 1948 in Staten Island , New York, the daughter of Edward J. Sullivan and Irene (McKeon) Sullivan. She had worked at H&R Block. Kathleen married Vinel "Jay" Chapman on August 12, 2020; he preceded her in death November 25, 2022. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Mt. Morris since 2001. Kathleen was a devoted Election Volunteer. Surviving are: sister Judy Hibbs; nieces and nephews, Linda (Gary) Hibdon, JoAnn (Mark) Churay, Edward (Tracy) Hobbs, Kimberly (Holly) Zipperer, Christopher (Kaila) Hibbs; several great-nieces and great- nephews; and two great-great; and many cousins.
