Ustaszewski, Katherine, age 83, of Linden, formerly of Detroit, died Friday, January 26, 2007 at Howell Care Facility, Howell. Funeral Mass will be held 11AM Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at the Chapel of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton., Fr. Bosco Padamattummal celebrant. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held 2-5 & 7-9 Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. A Rosary will be prayed 7:30PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Katherine was born December 6, 1923 in Manitoba, Canada, the daughter of Stephen and Mary (Kossowan) Peleshok. She married John Ustaszewski in 1972 in Dearborn. Katherine was employed for 29 years at Awrey Bakery in the Quality Control Department, was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, and a member of the Loose Center in Linden. Surviving are her 3 children, Kenneth (Janet) Zawisa of Howell, Elaine (Ernie) Wenskat of Riverview, Mary Slumba of Clarkston; 2 step-children, Patricia Manoviec of Roseville, John (Beverly) Ustaszewski of Fairgrove; grandchildren, Kenneth, LeeAnne, Debbie, Gregory, Ronald, John, Ed; great-grandchildren, Kelly, Hannah, Matthew, Adam, Toni Marie, Jenna, Noah, Nicole, Johnny, Sidney.  2 sisters, Olive Teschendorf of Florida, Nancy Rusak of Florida; brother, Morris Peleshok of Winnipeg, Manitoba;  She was preceded in death by her parents; 8 siblings; and son-in-law, Michael Slumba.
