Katherine L. Stites

STITES, Katherine L. - Age 72, of Byron, passed away July 3, 2024. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Burial will follow in Byron Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the family or Shiawassee County Draft Horse Barn. Katherine was born May 14, 1952 in Howell, the daughter of Clarence and Mary Jane (Cain) Campbell. She was a graduate of Byron High School and married Ronald L. Stites on January 10, 1970. Katherine was the Secretary/Treasurer of Shiawassee County Draft Horse Barn. She enjoyed going to Topeka Auctions to look at Draft Horses with her husband. She owned and operated Tanning Paradise. Katherine also enjoyed camping, competitive archery and was a marksman with a shot gun. She is survived by her husband, Ronald; son, Chad; daughter, Jammie; grandchildren, Lea (Adam), Brenden, Skyler and Marissa; great-grandchildren, Aurelia, Adeline and Briggs; sister, Jackie (Gary) Huff; brother, Chris Jones; aunt, Doris Morris.
