PERRY, Katherine E. - age 101, of Manistee, formerly of Flint, died Monday, November 29, 2010 in Manistee. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Gene Stutzman officiating. Interment will be held at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10 AM until 2 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Pleasant View Mennonite Church, 9217 Chippewa Hwy, Bear Lake, MI 49614. Mrs. Perry was born November 12, 1909, the daughter of Jacob and Ann (Sivik) Hromek and lived in Flint for many years. She married Theodore Perry on December 4, 1936 and he preceded her in death in 1989. Mrs. Perry was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and retired from A.C. Spark Plug in 1970. Surviving are: son, Richard Perry; two granddaughters, Kayla and Ashley Perry. She was preceded in death by: two brothers, Jacob and Charles Hromek; three sisters, Marie Forshee, Ann Quick and Agnes Klaback; grandson, Richard A. Perry.
