Katherine Elizabeth Peres

PERES, Katherine Elizabeth -- Age 81, of Flint, died Sunday, November 28, 2004 at her residence.  Funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Thursday, December 2, 2004 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, G-2316 W. Coldwater Rd., Flint.  Fr. Timothy Nelson celebrant.  Interment in Flint Memorial Park.  Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek from 5-9 PM Tuesday, 1-4 and 6-9 PM Wednesday where a vigil service will be held at 8 PM Wednesday.  Mrs. Peres was born March 29, 1923 in Flint, the daughter of Charles and Lavada (Copeland) Crawford.  She married Gonzalo Peres June 9, 1951 in Angola, IN; he preceded her in death January 14, 2001.  She has resided in the Flint area most of her life.  Mrs. Peres was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and a former member of the St. Helen Catholic Church.  Surviving are:  2 children, Theodore and wife Roberta Wolas of South Lyon, Toni and husband Craig Eide of White Lake; 6 grandchildren, David Price of Fenton, Jason, Justin and Jeffrey Wolas, all of South Lyon, Kevin Price of Ann Arbor, Nicole Price of Milford; brother, Charles and wife Delores Crawford of New Port Richie, FL; sister, Betty Crawford of New Port Richie, FL.  She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, John Crawford.
