PAUL, Katherine Ann "Katie" - Age 22, of Swartz Creek, died Friday, July 4, 2014. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Rd, Swartz Creek. Fr. Dan Kogut celebrant. Burial in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek Monday from 5-9 PM and Tuesday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM. A vigil service will be held 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association. Katie was born April 17, 1992 in Fayetteville, NC the daughter of Anthony B. and Amy E. (Charette) Paul. She was a 2011 graduate of Swartz Creek High School and was currently attending Lake Superior State University. She had resided in Swartz Creek most of her life. Surviving are: her parents, Anthony and Amy Paul; sister, Megan Paul; and brother, Anthony Joseph Paul all of Swartz Creek; the love of her life, Justin Dieck of Lennon; grandparents, Patricia and George Paul of Swartz Creek; great grandmother, Josephine Hope of Swartz Creek; uncles, George Paul, Andrew Paul, and Nick and wife Jenny Paul all of Clio; aunts, Janice and husband Eric Schuchaskie of Byron and Anita and husband Jim Spencer of Swartz Creek; and cousins, Madaleine, Gavin, Kegan, Allison, Sarah, James, Chase, William, and Grace.
