MORGAN, Katherine Elizabeth - Age 91, of Flushing, died Sunday, July 20, 2003 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, July 24, 2003 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint, Pastor Dean Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Mayfair Bible Church. Mrs. Morgan was born October 6, 1911 in Russia, the daughter of John and Anna Maria (Zitterkoph) Bohl. She married Gilbert D. Morgan on May 23, 1936; he preceded her in death on May 20, 1994. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan started Gill-Roy's Hardware in the fall of 1945 and the business is still run today under family operation. Mrs. Morgan attended Mayfair Bible Church and had lived in Flushing the past 16 years, coming from Flint. Surviving are: four children, Mary Alice and husband Tom Fancher of Peachtree City, GA, Linda and husband Bruce Summerer of Otsego, Bob and wife Ellen Morgan of Flushing and Lake Fenton, Dr. James G. Morgan of Okemos; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Matthew, Julie, Anne, Sarah, Allen, Brett, Thomas, Rob, Jamie, Emily, Corey; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Courtney, Andrew, Zachary; brother, Bob and wife Jean Bohl of Davison; sister-in-law, Lucille Morgan of Flushing; special caregivers and friends, Chris Princing, Pat Hawkins, Kristi Massey, Diane Crane.
