KREIDER, Katherine Louise (Easter) - Age 92, of Flint and Intersession City, FL, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 21, 2024 at West Flint Church of The Nazarene, 2254 S. Dye Road, Flint. Pastor Gary Curell, Pastor Jim Cochran and Pastor Chadrick Brown officiating. Entombment in the Mausoleum at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at the Church Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Heather Creek Church, 118 E. Belvidere Ave., Flint, MI 48503.

Katherine was born July 4, 1931 in Nellis, West Virginia the daughter of the late Carl and Margaret (Bias) Easter. She was a 1948 graduate of Owosso Bible High School. Katherine married Rev. H. James Kreider on August 1, 1950 in Owosso. Sadly, Rev. H. James preceded her in death on December 1, 2023. She fulfilled her calling for 47 years as a faithful minister's wife. Katherine worked in children's ministry, woman's Bible Studies, and singing in church choirs. She traveled with her husband in evangelistic work and singing with him. Katherine worked at Montgomery Wards and Leland Heating and Air Conditioning. She also worked along side her husband in their own business of Living Color Creations Church Pictorial. She was a loving, faithful mother of four children.

Surviving are her children, Linda (Rev. Gary) Curell of Mayville, Sandra (Patrick) Brown of Flint, Wanda (Rev. James) Cochran of Port Charlotte, FL and James E. Kreider (Diane Dexel) of Flint; 18 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren; brother, Richard (Sue) Easter, Sr. of West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
