Katherine Aseltine

ASELTINE, Katherine Grace - Age 76, of Byron, died Friday, July 22, 2016. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, July 25, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Burial in Fitchburg Cemetery in Stockbridge. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 4-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Katherine was born March 19, 1940 in Stockbridge the daughter of Wilfred and Beulah (Cole) Risner. She married Archie L. Aseltine January 5, 1989 in Flint. She had resided in Byron for the past 25 years coming from Dansville. Katherine retired as a bus driver from the Dansville Community Schools. She was a member of the Dansville Lions Club and was a volunteer at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. Surviving are: her husband, Archie; 6 children, Debbie (Rick) Wells of Indian River, Bret Cox of Byron, Sandy (Dean) Dolan of Lansing, Sherry King of Kentucky, Lisa (Joe) O'Leary of Columbiaville, and Cindy Aseltine of Columbiaville; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; 4 brothers, Clarence, Garland, Albert, and Donald Risner; and several nieces and nephews.
