WALKER, Kate, age 91, of Grand Blanc, formerly of Flint, died August 5, 2010 at Genesys Health Park. Service will be held 11:00am Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Interment at Christian Memorial Cemetery, Rochester. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until time of service on Wednesday. Kate was born March 6, 1919 in Judson, NC the daughter of Phillip and Mabel (Keener) Crisp. She worked as customer service representative at Genesee Bank for 25 years, retiring in 1985. Kate was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Flint and loved gardening, cooking and being with her children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter. She is survived by her 2 sons, James D. Walker (Pamela) of Alpena, Michael Walker of Grand Blanc; 4 grandchildren, James D. Walker of Rochester Hills, Cody Walker of Alpena, Lorraine Walker Reischling of Flint, Wendy Walker of Grand Blanc; great-granddaughter, Sophia Reischling; sister Marie Franklin of Eugene, Oregon.
