Karla Dewitt

DEWITT, Karla Jo - age 68, of Fenton, died January 6, 2023. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430. Interment will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held from 11-2 and 4-8 PM Tuesday, January 10 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers (www.t2t.org/). Karla Jo was born January 15, 1954 in Flint, the daughter of Lewis Currin and Joan Louise (Groom) Brabon. She marred Daniel "Wayne" DeWitt on December 4, 1971 and he preceded her in death on November 23, 2011. Karla Jo enjoyed flowers and painting and loved spending time with family. Surviving are: two children, Keri Jo (Eddie) Garrison of Fenton and Danny (April) DeWitt of Davisburg; six grandchildren, Travis Castro, Christopher Castro, Jagger Ramey, Allie Jo DeWitt, Drew Garrison, and Blake Garrison; four great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Kieran, Elizabeth and Sophia;  siblings, Kendra McKenney of Grand Rapids, Kathy Gillmore of Flint, Karen Cannon of Flint, and Kent Brabon of Fenton; sister by choice, Gail Polidan of Lake Fenton; brother by choice, David Meraglio of Fenton.
