Karen Shepard

Shepard, Karen Marie - Age 79, of Grand Blanc, died February 10, 2020. Funeral services will be held 7PM Tuesday, February 11 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint. Those desiring may make contributions to Parkinson's Disease or Genesee County Humane Society. Visitation will be held 5-8PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Karen was born November 6, 1940 in Dearborn, the daughter of Lionel George and Mary Archangel (Duchene) Peterson. She married Earl Shepard in 1967 in Southgate. Karen enjoyed crafts, bingo, Elvis music and watching Elvis impersonators. She is survived by her sisters, Kathryn (Dennis) Calvin of Grand Blanc, Mary Lynne (Donald) Sorensen of Burton; sister-in-law, Fran Peterson of Houghton Lake; nieces and nephews, Cindy, Denise, Kathy, Paula, Dan, Vicki, Mary, Richard, Jeff and GerriLynn; many great nieces and nephews; special friend Cheryl Gerrish. A special thank you to American House of Grand Blanc and Elvis. Karen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl; nephew, Joey Calvin.
