McCLUNG, Karen Sue - Age 58, of Flint Twp., died Saturday, July 30, 2016. Per Karen's wishes cremation has taken place, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to the Carman-Ainsworth Senior Center. Mrs. McClung was born on December 21, 1957 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Francis and Beverly Love (Fiebernitz) Limmer. She married James McClung on July 22, 1978 in Flint. Karen enjoyed scrapbooking and she had a love for dogs. She worked for Absolute Home Care as a CNA for 15 years. Surviving are: husband, James of Flint Twp.; daughter, Kari McClung of Flint Twp.; parents, Francis and Beverly Limmer of Flint; brother, Tom Limmer of IL; sisters, Nancy House of Davison, Lisa Jamrog of Flint; sister-in-laws, Kathy VanDeusen of Ovid and Theresa McClung of Burton; many nieces, nephews and her special pup Hunter. She was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law Barbara and Charles McClung; brother-in-law Dan McClung and outlaw Larry VanDeusen. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to Sally Williams and owner of Absolute Home Care, Deema Hannan and employees for their care and support and also a sincere thank you to Karen's best friend Maryjoe Meir and the Fiebernitz cousins for the many meals they provided to the home.
