Karen Marie CORKINS

CORKINS, Karen Marie - age 59, of Swartz Creek died Friday, August 3, 2012 at Hurley Medical Center. Services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, august 7, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will follow at Downing Cemetery, Deckerville, MI. Visitation will be held 6-9 PM Monday at the funeral home. Karen was born November 18, 1952 in Sandusky, MI, the daughter of Robert and Helen (Graves) Corkins. She was a 1972 graduate of Swartz Creek High School and a life long resident of Swartz Creek. Karen had been the manager of an A & W resturant for many years. She was a caring and giving person. Surviving are: sisters and brothers, Eunice (Rich) Morton of Birmingham, Paul (Brenda) Corkins of Beaverton, Shirley (Lynn) Bragg of Ft. Wayne, IN, Gloria (Fred) Merinsky of Olmsted Township, OH, Glenn (Cheryl) Corkins of Fenton; aunts and uncles, Barb Corkins of Davison, George and Violet Corkins of Howell, Winnifred Davies of Jacksonville, FL; many cousins; several nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews and many friends.
