Brisbois, Karen Ann (Higgins) - age 61 of North Branch, passed away on February 29, 2016. Cremation has taken place and no service is scheduled.
Karen was born on June 22, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Thomas and Caroline (Jakubiszen) Higgins. She loved spending time with her Grandparents, Stanley and Florence Jakubiszen. She attended Dominican High School. Karen was gifted with the abilities of singing, dancing, and cooking. She had a jolly laugh that made everyone laugh. Karen was the oldest of six siblings, Thomas, Beverly, Daniel, Janice, and Patrick. She is also survived by her aunt Lucille Hurley and Uncle Albert Jakubiszen. Karen had two daughters and one step daughter. Kristen Marie, Colleen Elizabeth, and Dawn Brisbois. Karen had eight grandchildren; Anthony, Laurel, Danielle, and Lindsey LaBara, Johnny and Raquel Pizzo, and Jordan and Jasmin Brisbois. Karen is greatly missed and loved.
