Kaethe Snyder

SNYDER, Kaethe Gisela - Age 93, of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, January 2, 2018. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Kaethe was born in Gera, Germany on July 8, 1924, the daughter of the late Bruno Fritz and Martha Marie (Schmidt) Quaas. She immigrated from Gera, Germany with her husband Lawrence Edward Snyder whom she met while he was stationed in Germany with the United States Army. Kaethe married Lawrence on February 6, 1954 in Stuttgart, Germany. She was the love of his life. Kaethe was employed by the Flint Journal, Vogue, Jacobson's department stores , and Readmore Retail Outlet, an affiliate of Ludington News, for 20 years. She loved to travel with Lawrence and their dog Max, visiting 39 of 48 states in their RV. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Lawrence Snyder of Swartz Creek.
