RODABAUGH, Junior LeRoy- Age 80, of Burton, died Thursday, June 26, 2008 at his residence, with his family by his side. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, June 30, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Don Kelley officiating. Burial immediately following at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Saturday, 3-8 PM Sunday, 10 AM until time of service Monday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the family. Junior was born April 20, 1928 in Evart, the son of Roy E. and Florence A. (Blodgett) Rodabaugh. He married Margaret Joanne Allen August 7, 1948 in Flint. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Junior retired from the Genesee County Animal Shelter in 1989 and also had worked for Genesee Electric for 20 years. He was ordained a minister in 1952; He was a member of Living Witness Ministries where he served on the board, Genesee County Retirees, Yankee Air Force, Oscoda Chapter, ASFCME Local #496 where he was a union steward for 12 years and served on the bargaining unit. Surviving are: wife, Margaret; 5 children, Howard of Burton, Walt and wife Barb of Lennon, Sandi and husband Ray Brown of Holly, Mike and fiance Amy Palmer of Burton, Kimberly Rodabaugh of Flint; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great-greatgranddaughter; 2 brothers, Jim and wife Bert of Oscoda and Richard and wife Barbara of Davison; 2 sisters, Maryellen Hall of Corunna and Ella Day of Angola, IN; several nieces and nephews; his faithful companion, Max. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Cheryle Irvine; granddaughter, Viola Hensley.
