Junette Crawford

CRAWFORD, Junette Louise - Age 67, of Flint, died Friday, February 6, 2009. Junette was born July 6, 1941 to Clare and Louise Crawford. She graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1959. In her youth, Junette was a gifted ballerina. She danced and taught ballet in Flint and New York City. Junette retired as a Registered Nurse from the American Red Cross. She was a community activist involved in raising awarness on poverty and the need for Universal Health Care Care. Surviving are her son, Sean Crawford of Flint; brother, James Crawford of Florida; niece, Claire Crawford of Florida; nephew, Ian Crawford of Florida; aunt, Geraldine Blankenship of Flint. A Celebration of Life will be held at 7PM Wednesday, February 18th at U.A.W. Region IC Union Hall, 1949 Atherton Rd. (at Van Slyke), Flint.
