THOMAS, June L. - age 71, of Flushing, died Monday, August 28, 2017 at Henry Ford Hospital. There will be a celebration of life from 2 PM - 5 PM Saturday, September 2, 2017 at her residence, 7070 Rosewood Dr., Flushing. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Flushing Christian Outreach Center, 201 N. McKinley St., Flushing, MI 48433. June was born August 15, 1946 in Flint, the daughter of Larry and Tekla Hill. She was an active volunteer with the Flushing Christian Outreach Center and enjoyed spending summer in northern Michigan. June enjoyed playing cards and spending time with friends and family, thrift shopping and had an uncanny ability to avoid having her picture taken. She was the loving mother of: four children, Tiffiny (David) Randolph of Jacksonville, FL, Tammy (Bud) Arms of Lapeer. Tiger (Lori) Thomas of Fenton, and Travis (Hollister) Thomas of Jupiter, FL; grandmother to 10 grandchildren, Courtney, Madison, Michael, Spencer (fiancé, Sawyer), Cooper, Savannah, Teagan, Trinity, Holland, and Shepherd; brother, Brian (Kathy) Hill of CA; sister, Ellen Lovegrove of Grand Blanc; many nieces and nephews; former husband, Terry Thomas of Flint Twp.; sister-in-law, Carolyn Harrison and mother-in-law, Fran Patterson.
