June Muckle

MUCKLE, June Marie - age 84, of Fenton, died Monday, November 24, 2008 at her residence. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton with Rev. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton where a vigil service will be held at 7 PM Tuesday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the St. John G.I.F.T. Campaign. Mrs. Muckle was born June 23, 1924 in Lincoln, MI, the daughter of Peter and Edna May (Cuyler) Medor. She retired from Ford Motor Company in 1975 after 31 years of service. She married Theodore J. Muckle on July 20, 1978 and he preceded her in death on November 18, 2000. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She was an avid golfer and a 20-year member of Shore Acres/Torrey Pines (now, Fenton Farms Golf Club). She also volunteered for Bingo at Crestmont Nursing Home for over 13 years. Mrs. Muckle wintered at Quail Heights in Lake City, FL. Surviving are: step-son, Todd (Dina) Muckle of St. Clair Shores; two grandchildren, Richard and Trina Muckle; brother, Joe Medor of Fenton; two sisters, Helen Fisher of Hubbard Lake, Betty Byce of Lincoln, MI; many special nieces and nephews.
