MILLS, June Shirley - age 87, of Holly, died Thursday, March 15, 2012. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, March 19, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Pastor Drex Morton officiating. Visitation will be held 2-6 PM Sunday and 9:30 AM until the time of service Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to All Saints Lutheran Church, Hartland. June was born January 31, 1925 in Ferndale, the daughter of Rolla and Bernice (Marsch) Wharff. She married Martin Mills on March 20, 1947 in Ferndale. She was a member of All Saints Lutheran Church in Hartland. Mrs. Mills had been employed by General Motors and retired from Sears in 1983. She loved cooking, crosstitch and spending time with her family. Surviving are: husband, Martin; daughters, Anita Lee and Michael Ellis, Donna Lynn and James Heddins; grandchildren, Brandon, Clifton, Andrew and Nathan Ellis, Samuel and Sadie Bartholomew; great-grandchildren, Lucas and Noah Bartholomew; one niece and several nephews; sister-in-law, Lois Mills.
