COBB, June Marie - Age 74, of Swartz Creek, died Wednesday, September 24, 2003 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1PM Friday, September 26, 2003 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Rd. Chapel 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Rev. Douglas Stockwell officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1- 9PM Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Lung Association. Mrs. Cobb was born April 18, 1929 in Flint, the daughter of Gordon Cecil and Marion Marie (Parker) Mott. She married Arthur Cobb in 1966 in Flint and he preceded her in death December 12, 1988. She had resided in Swartz Creek since 1994 coming from Flushing where she had resided for 20 years. She retired form Rite Aide in 1993 with 12 years services and her and husband formerly owned and operated Bill's Foodland in Flint for 20 years. Surviving are 6 children, Danny Dues of Swartz Creek, Thomas and wife Viola Dues of Vassar, Steven and wife Susan Dues of Swartz Creek, William Cobb of Swartz Creek, Julie and husband Ronald Mangles of Perry, Scott and wife Karon Cobb of Clio; 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Martin and wife Barbara Bensch of Midland; special niece, Kim and husband Randy Francisco; several other nieces and nephews; her beloved cat Daisy.
