RUANO, Julie A. -- Age 43, of Grand Blanc, died Friday, January 16, 2004. Services will be held 1:30 PM Monday, January 19, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 11 AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Julie Ruano Memorial Fund.  Ms. Ruano was born May 28, 1960 in Cheboygan, MI. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her pets. She is survived by three children, Angela, Chris and Brandon; father, Donald Smith and wife Pat of Lake, MI; mother, Joanne Kowalski and husband Julian of California; brother, David Smith and wife Renee; sisters, Brenda Reed and Shari Smith all of California; 5 nieces; 2 nephews; special friend, Gary Rivard; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and her pets.
