HARRYMAN, Julie Bell (Olney) Â Age 52, of Fenton, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, March 28, 2006. Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Saturday, April 1, 2006 at the Freedom Center, 2473 W. Shiawassee, Fenton, Pastor James Wiegand and Dr. Kent Olney officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be 1-4 and 6-9 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Those desiring may make contributions through U of M for Multiple Myeloma research. Julie was born January 14, 1954 in St. Johns, MI the daughter of Harold and Sharon (Martin) Olney. She was a graduate of the Michigan School for the Deaf, and had attended Gallaudet University in Washington, DC, and Central Bible College in Springfield, MO. She married H. Brooks Harryman, Jr. on July 19, 1974. Julie worked as a sign language instructor at Mott Community College. She was a member of the Flint Association of the Deaf, the Deaf Quilters Group, and attended the Freedom Center. She loved sports and won a Gold Medal in the World Games for the Deaf in Track and Field. Surviving are: husband, H. Brooks Harryman, Jr.; two children, Becky Harryman of Fenton, Chad Harryman and wife Laura of Dewitt; granddaughter Allison Faith Harryman (born just hours before Julies death); parents Harold and Sharon Olney of Flint; sister Debbie and husband Marvin Bosworth of Linden; two brothers Kent Olney and wife Beth of Illinois, Martin Olney and wife Diane of California; grandmother Gathal Martin of Elsie; Â parents-in-law, Lois and Floyd Smith of California, Harry and Helen Harryman of South Dakota; and several nieces and nephews.
