JOHNSON, Judy A. - age 80 of Grand Blanc, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2024.
Judy was born in Flint, Michigan on January 14, 1944 to the late Charles and Wanda (Moorehouse) Pease. She graduated with honors from Flint Northern High School, and went on to earn her Bachelors and Masters Degrees, respectively, from the University of Michigan. Judy was a teacher and librarian for the Flint Public Schools for a combined 35 years. She then became the librarian for the Flint Institute of Arts. Judy was a member of MENSA, and an avid reader. She had a passion for traveling, theater, and enjoyed spending her time with family and friends.
Judy is survived by her granddaughter Anita (Joseph) Trickey of Davison; 2 great grandchildren; and brother, Gary Martin of AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter; Jennifer Bukowski.
In accordance with Judy's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Judy to the Flint Institute of Arts (www.flintarts.org) or the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org).
