Judy Mae Cox

COX, Judy Mae - age 75 of Flint, died November 26, 2023. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, December 1, 2023, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 3-7 PM Thursday, November 30, 2023, at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Ainsworth Baptist Church or Shriner Children's Hospital. Judy was born May 20, 1948, in Staples, MN, the daughter of Ellery Leroy and Myrtle W. (Harthing) Brening. She married Roger Dale Cox on May 20, 1966, and he preceded her in death on August 21, 2016. Judy was active alongside her husband in many Shriner and Masonic organizations. Surviving are: two sisters, Ardell and Karen; many nieces and nephews; lifelong friends, Byron & Lucy, Roger & Theresa; neighbor friends, David, Roy, Valerie, and Joanie; childhood sweetheart, Rick. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; five sisters, Alvera, Betty, Maryann, Ardean, and Emily; and brother, Marvin. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
