Judith Ann Walker

Walker, Judith Ann - Age 87, of Grand Blanc, passed away January 25, 2025. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Lapeer. Visitation will be held 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to The Juvenile Diabetes research Foundation or the American Cancer Society.

Judith was born October 11, 1937 in Lapeer, Michigan, the daughter of Mervyn and Virginia (Bullis) Carver. She graduated from Lapeer High School. She worked as a director for Rosehaven Retirement Home in Flint and later at Abbey Park in Grand Blanc. She was an avid golfer and a member of the Davison Golf Club. In addition to golf, her hobbies included painting, pottery, and gardening. She enjoyed her travels to Europe, which included traveling to Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Italy. She studied at the F.I.A. 

She is survived by her husband, Donald W. Walker; son, Barclay E. (Kathleen) Smith; grandson, Grant Smith (Brett Lauren Taylor) ; great-grandson, Colton John; sister, Peggy Ticonni,; nephew, Giovani (Tracey) Ticonni; daughter in law, Kathleen's family, The Mucha Family; sisters-in-law, Sheila McBride, and Karen Dickson; cousins, Linda Werner, Michael Werner, and Georgia (Brian) Chard. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Steven Smith; nephew, Joseph Anthony Ticonni; and sister-in-law, Deannie Joe Walker.
