WAGNER, Joyce Beverly Mansfield) - age 93, beloved wife and mother, a friend to all, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Ascension Genesys Hospital with her husband and daughter by her side. Visitation will be 12PM-1PM Friday, May 28, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc with a procession to the cemetery to follow. A Graveside Service will be held 1:30 PM Friday at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Fr. Andy Czajkowski officiating. Those desiring may make contributions to American Heart Association. Joyce was born in Flint, MI on April 4, 1928, the daughter of Arthur S. and Verna A. (Gibb) Mansfield. She graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1946. She worked at Citizens Savings and Commercial Downtown Bank for 20 years, retiring as Assistant Cashier. She was a member of the American Institute of Banking and was a CB Delegate to all conventions nationally. It was from one such convention she gained information on establishing the school savings program adopted for all Flint Public Elementary Schools. Joyce met her husband, Paul Wagner, when they both were attendants in the wedding party of mutual friends in 1956 and were married July 20, 1957 at Community Presbyterian Church on Dayton Street in Flint, more than 63 years ago. Joyce was an excellent homemaker, decorator, gardener, and loved taking on special projects at home and at their Rifle Point cottage on Rifle Lake. She enjoyed traveling and to Ohio and Florida to spend time with with her brother and sister-in-law's family, and special times with her cousins and other Canadian Relatives. She was a golfer, bowler, and loved football and Tiger games. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; and brother and sister-in-law, Bud and Keitha Mansfield. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul; daughter, Jill Wagner; nieces, Debra (Ian) Mackinnon, Tammy (Kevin) O'Neill, and Cindy (Kurt) Dennis; great-nieces, Emily Dennis and Kelly O'Neill; and special mutual birthday cousin, Carol Studaker.
