SPRIETZER, Joyce A. - Age 70, of Linden, died Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, January 22, 2011 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Fr. Bosco Padamattummal celebrating. Burial in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Friday from 4-8 PM. Joyce was born May 8, 1940 in Davis, WV, the daughter of Harper and Patience (Lease) Harman. She was a graduate of Western High School in Detroit. She married Lawrence E. Sprietzer August 31, 1957 in Allen Park. Joyce had resided in Linden for several years and had lived in Michigan for 30 years. Surviving are: husband, Lawrence; 3 children, Lawrence and wife Joanne Sprietzer of Layton, UT, Laura and husband Steven Brooks of Goodrich and Lynn and husband Michael Stocker of Washington Township; 5 grandchildren, Lawrence W., Brandon, Nicolas, Jessica and Katie; 1 great grandchild.
