Joyce A. RODGERS

RODGERS, Joyce Ann - Age 75, of Davison, died at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Jeff and Kelly Ruff on Wednesday, July 8, 2009. She was born in Jackson, MI on June 27, 1934, the daughter of Carl O. and Norma Irene (Goodwin) Losey. Joyce has lived in the Flint area most of her life. She married Jack D. Rodgers in Fenton in 1954. He preceded her in death November 22, 2008 after 54 happy years of marriage. She had been employed by Michigan Bell Telephone Co. for many years and later at the Fair Store in Courtland Center for 17 years as a professional gift wrapper. She enjoyed going to casinos, cake decorating and doll making. Surviving are daughters, Pam Rodgers and Kelly (Jeff) Ruff both of Davison; son, Jeff Rodgers of Grand Blanc; grandsons, Joshua James and Jeremiah Tyler Ruff. Also surviving are a brother, Carl Losey, Jr. and several nieces and nephews. Her special pets are Taz, Katie and Lucky. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 13, 2009, at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Preacher Joshua James Ruff will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 12 noon Monday until service time.
