Joyce E. RANES

RANES, Joyce E. -- Age 80, of Flint, died June 23, 2009 at her residence. Services will be held 10 AM Friday, June 26 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, Pastor Wes Morris officiating. Interment in the Roscommon Townhsip Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 PM Thursday. Joyce was born February 19, 1929 in Fenton the daughter of Gui Martin Bell and Ellen (Sisson) Bell. She was a 1947 graduate of Fenton High School. She was married to John W. Ranes in 1971 in Houghton Lake, MI, and he preceded her in 1978. Mrs. Ranes retired from A.C. Spark Plug in 1985 with 35 years of service. Surviving are: sister, Ilene Helwig of Flint; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Mary Alice; and four brothers, Wilbur, William, Donald, and Martin.
