MCCLELLAND, Joyce Ann (Schiestel) - Age 80, of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, April 14, 2020. Private burial will take place in Flint Memorial Park. Memorial service will be announced for a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Joyce was born on September 10, 1939, in Flint the daughter of Joseph and Carrie (Miller) Schiestel. She graduated from St. Michaels Catholic High School, class of 1957. Joyce and Robert McClelland were united in marriage on April 18, 1975 in Flint. She worked for Hurley Medical Center in Flint for 25 years before her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, and playing bingo, and going to the casino. She was an adored woman full of life and laughter. She is survived by her 4 children, Richard (Linda) Soper, Joy Smith, Michael Soper and Gregory (Karen) Soper; 4 step-children, Kathy (TY) Turmell, Robert (Annette) McClelland, Timothy McClelland and Dane (Angela) McClelland; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Robert McClelland; parents Joseph and Carrie Schiestel; 2 step-sons, Craig and Kevin McClelland; step-grandson, Ryan McClelland; sister, Jeanette (Doc) Barber; and brother, Joe Schiestel.
